Before using:
- Wash your FreshSaver™ Produce Keeper™ lid
and base, preferably in a dishwasher (top-shelf only).
- Remove the FreshSaver FreshFilter™ pack from the
protective pouch.
- Write an expiration date on the bottom of the FreshFilter
pack that is 3 months from the day you open the pouch.
Inserting the FreshFilter pack in the Produce Keeper
lid:
- Make sure the directional ‘dot’ on the
FreshFilter pack is aligned with ‘unlock’ on the
Produce Keeper lid.
- Push down and turn the FreshFilter pack clockwise until
the directional ‘dot’ is aligned with the ‘lock’ on
the Produce Keeper lid.
Storing produce:
- Place your unwashed produce in the
Produce Keeper container.
- Make sure the lid is sealed tightly.
- Store Produce Keeper containers in the refrigerator, either
in the crisper bin or on a shelf (not in the freezer).
Reuse:
- Make sure you remove the FreshFilter pack before
washing the lid. Keep the FreshFilter in a dry location.
- To remove the FreshFilter pack, turn it so that the directional ‘dot’ is
aligned with the ‘Unlock” on the Produce Keeper lid.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
What if the ingredients in the FreshFilter
pack get in someone’s
eye?
Immediately flush with water and call your doctor.
What if the ingredients in the FreshFilter pack are ingested?
Immediately drink several glasses of milk or water and call your
doctor.
What if the ingredients in the FreshFilter pack stain my skin?
Wash your skin with a solution of 1 part vinegar and 1 part 3%
hydrogen peroxide.
